We are beginning to invite and organize the local crafts people, farm producers and educators for the this year’s Mayhaw Berry Harvest Festival.

Charissa's CritterOur own Charissa is busy making her felt critters. It is Mother’s Day weekend and Spring is in the air! There will be some really cute critters to choose from.

We’ve been trying lots of ventures learning to use our wool. Felting has turned out to be the most fun. We will show you how it’s done and how we are washing and carding the raw product.

We are hoping All About Ewe will be back to show us crocheting tricks.

Farm Credit of Northwest Florida, a great supporter, has always sponsored the Hayride for the Mayhaw Festival and the New Leaf Market Tour. You will hear new stories about what is going on in the pastures. Looking for something to do on Mothers Day? A lot of out-of-town children and grandchildren come visit Mom for Mother’s Day. You can bring the whole family for a country ride on the wagon. It is always fun!

Handmade gift wrap from Cryptic CreationsHere is a sample of crafts by Cryptic Creations Studio by Faye Pritchett. Faye will be here with jewelry, Pom Pom Pals. Mini Mates key chains and crocheted  items. The photo is of here handmade gift wrap and cards.

Faye will be the first to greet you. She will be located at the Welcome Tent with that lovable Thor and his buddy Laroque. The groomer will give them a bath the Friday before so they’ll be nice and pretty. Faye and the boys have been here for lots of years and are always popular for photo ops with the dogs.

Located in the pastures by the barn will be the Petting Place. Farmers and Merchants Bank has been our sponsor these last few years. It will be even more fun because we finally had lambs born this month. Ten so far but more moms looking to drop soon. We’ve had twenty-five goat kids born in the various pastures.

Sweet Bay Soaps will be here with their all homemade and hand cut selection of soaps. They come as a vendor to our festivals every spring and fall. We also carry the product in our Country Store.
