Congratulations are in order. On October 5, 2008 Golden Acres Ranch sold their first USDA Certified meat. Mom and Dad worked hard for this day. Mom had completed her education at FAMU and both of them have learned so much about sustainable ranching since 2001 when they first started.
You know how small businesses sometimes used to frame and hang their first dollar on the wall? Well, I think it’s fitting that in this day and age, the first $ is posted as an email. 🙂
