Hi all you bread makers out there. Do you know that David Barnhart from right here in Jefferson County has successfully raised Organic Wheat and has it ready to sell. It is being cleaned and put into 50# bags this week. Stop by the vegetable and fruit stand of Barnhart Farms at Lake Ella Growers Market on Wednesday or The Lafayette Street Organic Market on Thursday and ask about it. I’ve had a number of folks tell me they grind their own wheat to make their bread. Now is a good time to support a local farmer.
