The Millstone Institute for Preservation, on Lake McBride near Tallahassee, is a property that has been set aside for the benefit and education of the people of Florida. Over the years the Institute has held a wide variety of cultural events including literary readings, theatrical and musical performances, antique tours, film screenings, the Fall Weavers Festival and student field trips.
We’ve been there for for the Weavers Festival and to learn sheep shearing. Bobbie and I both practiced on a sheep and a llama!
Majken Peterzen is responsible for organizing the current North Florida – South Georgia Fall Farm Tour. Coming up October 12 and 13 this year. Download the booklet.
