Mayhaw Harvest vendors are lining up.

Just to let you know some of the vendors that will participate in our Mayhaw Harvest Festival. Check their sites for the product they carry.

Johnston’s Meat Market – They had sausage and bar-b-cue sandwiches last year. We’re expecting more of the same.  Their big cooker will be here so you can smell your way here if you get lost.

Deep Roots Meats, LLC – Grass fed beef. They will have samples of their specialty products as well as the regular beef products.

Pan-Handlers Kitchen – The kitchen supply place in the cottages at Lake Ella. Sign up for their cooking classes. Even I’ve had a class or two.

David Ward with his fruit press will be making Mayhaw Jelly the old-fashioned way. I’m sure he will give you a sample and tell you it is better than mine.

Gerry & Carmen Zengel with their Walking Sticks & Wood Carvings made from native Florida wood.

Oh yes, there will music by The Mayhaws again this year!

Bob and Melinda Copper of Copper Moon Studios – They may bring a goat from their farm but you can see their work on the Florida State Campus.

Of course, all this is in conjunction with support of Dr. Jennifer Taylor, Coordinator of the FAMU Statewide Sustainable Farms Program.
