We will be there this week even though we are overwhelmed with harvesting Mayhaw berries. Those little berries are a dickens to gather. It is slow going and buggy out there, but oh! that jelly is so good. Anyway, we’ll have lamb and goat along with miscellaneous other farm stuff. Becky from Full Moon Apiary will probably with us and have her honey products again. I can bring fresh berries if you get an order in. Bring a small cooler to keep them nice until you get home then either freeze or go ahead and cook them down to get the juice. Then you can freeze the juice to make the jelly another day.

If you want to learn jelly making, come to the Mayhaw Festival May 14 & 15. Remember we’re have a jelly making demo. “The Mayhaws” music band will be here and playing their special brand of music. They are a local southern specialty just like our berries. Both are a rare treasure.
