3:00 PM to 6:30 PM
Here we are six months into the year. Does time pass fast or what. I will be back this week with jelly and honey. There are still Mayhaw Berries available.
Exciting news! I’ll be joining with Johnston’s Meat Locker at the market. Look for Johnston’s Big Red, the climate controlled truck and topper with the name prominently displayed on both sides. He will be bringing some wonderful smoked sausages, bacon and other specialty items. Johnston’s is now featuring our lamb and goat at local farmers markets. There will be samples straight from the grill of his smoked product and I’ll be sampling the lamb pot roast again. Come on over for a taste.
Check out the farm fresh eggs straight from the nest. Notice that glove. It is part of a fundraiser for Jefferson County 4-H children. The garden club, Monticello Camellia Circle, that I belong to is selling these for $7.50 (includes tax) with the profit providing a place for two children to attend camp this summer. I’ll have them at the table if you want to help.
