My family and I would like to thank Ms. Bobbie for being a wonderful host. She gave us a private tour of all the different areas where they have the goats, sheep, chickens, miniature horse, and donkeys. Just to name a few. We felt right at home. I had the grand opportunity to assist on the feeding of the different animals. What a treat! Their dogs were very nice, even welcomed our own as I walked them on a leash. We learned many interesting facts on how a goat farm works and have not stopped talking about our experience sice. Thanks again for a great experience!
I loved our visit to Golden Acres Ranch we took our Mpact Club ages 4 and up. We had a great time and learned a lot about the animals. The Dogs were a once in a life time view. We ate lunch at the picnic tables and I shopped in the country store, bringing back a beautiful wool neck scarf and 2 different tasteful jelly's. Great afternoon stop over or family outing.
Thank you very much for being such great hosts during the October Farm Tours.
It was a pleasure to feed Goats (Lightening in particular), Go on a hay ride, Learn about Fainting Goats, Learn to Spin the Sheep Wool. There was so much to learn on how the farms works...
Thank you once again...
Bobbie and Fred,
Lou and I want to thank you again for the wonderful "harvest host" experience we had staying with you at Golden Acres Friday Oct 23rd thru Sat morning Oct 24th. It was clearly the highlight of our trip--your farm, the Pyrenees guardian dogs, learning about your goats and Mayhaw trees as well as the farm tour.
We have been re-living our few idyllic days on your farm, looking at our photos and enjoying the jelly-it's so unique and really delicious.
Arrived safely........wonderful product.....thanks so much
Thank you so very much for our overnight stay in March. We thoroughly enjoyed the animals and your lovely property. It was a restful night in a calm and quiet place. Give our regards to Rory.
I enjoyed seeing your farm when I boarded my Great Pyrnees with you a year ago. If anyone wants a Great Pyr the Great Pyr Rescue of Atlanta has many. Most of them have been working dogs "just turned out." They are fostered and treated for various maladies before being put up for adoption. Just go online to see some beauties. I liked seeing yours at work. (My 6 yr. old GtPyr ate my whole jar of mayhaw jelly that I left by my chair. She never eats any of my food. Glad she didn't have a diabetic rush.)
Forest and I want to THANK YOU for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay at your ranch and enjoyed riding along with you, Bobbie, to feed the animals. Both having grown up with grandparents who had farm animals, our visit brought back many nice childhood memories.
The jellies are delicious! Will cook the ground lamb later. Hope you get some of the rain we drove through today! Best wishes for the birth of all of your little babies. I had hoped to see the new baby goats before we pulled out, sorry we missed them.
Will stop by again if we are in your area in the future.
Thanks Bobbie, I know it must take a lot of work to set up such a nice event. Even your directions were so accurate, I drove in like I had been there before.
Reading all the good advice you give about having goats or sheep or both, then seeing yours, well it was wonderful to see what loving animals you have. I was trying to talk one of your Great Pyrenees into coming home with me, but he said he had responsibilities and could not leave. 🙂
Thanks for a great experience!
It is so nice to be able to get quality, reasonably priced and healthy meat - locally. The lamb is delicious and my family looks forward to trying other Golden Acres products!
