Holiday Visitors?

Are You My Mother? |Consider bringing your family and friends out to see the animals. We are always here during holidays. This is pet sitting time for us. We let everyone else do the traveling and we enjoy staying on the farm. It is such a pretty drive from east or west on U.S 90 to Monticello. Yes, even during the winter time. That’s a laugh, winter time in north Florida. What? The sun is shinning brightly and it’s 46 degrees and yes, we think it is so cold!!!!

We’ll offer a warm cup of coffee or some Wassil (a special warm holiday drink, sorta like a fruity spiced tea) and a sample of jelly, jam or a piece of Mayhaw cake. The little ones can see Ernie the one-month old bottle fed goat or they pet Stevie our little blind girl goat. She is very friendly and loves attention.

You know the chickens are running around – no they are not laying eggs – the days are too short. There are always those funny guineas lined up somewhere along the fences and driveway. Now we can’t forget the Phoney Pony swing the children like to ride with a push from brother, dad, uncle or grandpa. Mom gets to take the pictures. Come see us and enjoy.

The easiest way to let me know you are coming is to email bobbie.golden@ but a phone call (850) 997-6599 will do too. Leave a message if we don’t answer. We are most likely are out feeding or checking on the critters.
