The Jefferson County Historical Association is pleased to invite you to a tour of the Historic 1827 Roseland Cemetery with accurate historic reenactments. Chicken Workshop

The University of Florida IFAS and FAMU will be hosting a “Backyard Poultry Production Workshop”. The workshop is designed to provide information to those that currently raise chickens on a small-scale and those that may be interested in raising their own eggs and meat. It will cover breed selection, food and housing, egg and meat production, predators and pests, diseases and various other topics involved in poultry production.
The featured speaker will be Jennifer Glover with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Golden Acres will be providing the chickens.
If you plan to attend, you are encouraged to call and register by April 19th. Registration for the workshop is $5 and can be collected at the door on the day of the event. “Too Cute” is casting for Animal Best Friends
True Entertainment is casting a new Animal Planet show about interspecies Animal Best Friends. They are only casting for another week, so if you know of any special animal friendships, please email ASAP to: animalfriends@trueentertainment.net or call 212-763-4021.
“Too Cute” is a sweet and educational show and people have been quite excited about the opportunity. The Producers are looking for all types of animal species friends, not just pets but unique animals, and baby animals in particular. They are interested in seeing all different types of cute and fun interactions between the animals. It may be as simple as your cat chasing your dog around your backyard every day, or your horse playing hide and go seek with your guinea pig.
True Entertainment is casting nationally across the US. Please include your name, phone number, pictures of the two animals that are best friends and a short summary of their story. Additionally, feel free to include any video you may have on them that shows their best friendship.
